violence
Moderate violence includes people being beaten with a stick, and other being shot with guns, producing occasional and small spurts of blood or wounds to be visible on their bodies. A man has a vision in which he slaps his wife, and in a flashback sequence it is implied a child is beaten with a belt as a punishment. A person's sexist attitude leads him to persuade his friend to act violently towards his spouse in punishment for her betrayal, though this way of thinking is implicitly challenged.
threat and horror
People are briefly seen being held at gunpoint or in danger from gunfire.
language
There is implied use of strong language (‘motherf**ker’) as well as use of milder terms including 'twat', ‘bugger’, ‘bullshit’, ‘ass’, ‘freakin’, ‘shit’, ‘piss’, ‘frickin’, ‘God’, ‘damn’, ‘screw’, and ‘hell’.
sex
There are infrequent moderate sex references, including a visual reference implying off-screen oral sex.
drugs
A man accidentally and unknowingly licks a tab of acid, and subsequently has fleeting hallucinations. There is a brief scene of joint smoking. Drug misuse is not condoned by the film.
suicide and self-harm
A man briefly admits to suicidal ideation.
alcohol and smoking
People at a party binge on alcohol and subsequently display drunken behaviour. A man is seen smoking cigarettes.
flashing/flickering lights
This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
