People are shot, stabbed, slashed with blades, beaten, or struck with hammers, creating spurts of blood. A man is stabbed in his eye, with strong bloody detail, and is subsequently shown flailing and yelling with the hilt still protruding from his eye socket. A flashback scene appears to show a man stabbing his girlfriend, but it is subsequently revealed that he was extracting the blade after she was murdered by another person.

A terrified man is doused with petrol, threatened with a machete and then set on fire; we hear him screaming as he burns, but the visual detail is minimal. In another scene a man threatens kneeling captives with a hammer.
