Scenes include shootouts, fist fights, and the use of bladed weapons. Sequences feature gunfire resulting in bloody detail, people being strangled, impaled, and tortured involving electrocution. A man's ear is bitten off during a fight, and a shipping container is dropped on top of a person.

There is sustained gun threat directed at adults and children, hostage situations in which people are restrained and tied up, and chase sequences involving explosions and vehicle crashes. In one scene, a child is pressured to sever a rope suspending a man from a crane.

There is use of very strong language ('c**t'), strong language ('motherf**ker', 'f**k'), as well as milder terms including 'bastard', 'damn', 'hell' and 'God.'

Discriminatory language ('retard') is used.

Scenes depict cocaine snorting, and references are made to drug dealing and trafficking. Bags of powder and pills are also seen.

References are made to child trafficking and child sexual abuse, with children shown held captive in cages. In one scene, a man threateningly tells a girl that he will be taking her home with him.

There is a scene of suicide and accompanying suicide references.

Sequences include sight of a severed head, severed limbs, blood-spattered corpses, and the bodies of children in the aftermath of violence.

Upsetting scenes include sight of an ill child, a person collapsing, and people grieving for lost loved ones. The body of a dead child is briefly seen.
