Scenes of violence include people being shot and falling but without strong detail. There are also head butts and blows to the head, including with a gun. People are captured and crushed by a giant snake, including a suggestion that their bones are breaking inside its coils.

Several sequences feature threatening scenarios and jump scares. Scenes include snakes chasing and attacking people, including a very large snake eating people whole. There are also scenes of gun threat between humans, as well as chases on foot and in vehicles. Some of these scenes are intense but frequently offset with comedy.

One comic sequence features several bleeped uses of strong language ('f**k'). Elsewhere in the film, there is unbleeped use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as uses of moderate bad language ('bitch', 'son of a bitch') and milder terms including 'asshole', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'ass', 'piss', 'fricking', 'screw', 'hell', 'goddamn', 'damn', 'God' and 'Jesus Christ'.

There are moderate verbal sex references, including comic references to adultery and 'banging'.

A character takes some pills and acts intoxicated. There are verbal references to pills and whether a character is 'high'.

There is injury detail in the aftermath of attacks by a giant snake, including brief sight of a dead body with some blood on its face. There is also sight of bloody chunks when animals are impacted by explosions and boat propellers.

When a person suffers an animal bite, another character is required to urinate onto the wound in order to clean it. While there is no sight of genitals, there is comic sight of the stream of urine.

There are references to death and bereavement, usually in comic contexts.

Adults are occasionally shown consuming alcohol. There are references to drunkenness and alcoholism, which are played for comic effect.
