An Unfinished Film

A man is struck and violently restrained during an altercation with police, leaving blood on his face. Footage of a riot shows protesters clashing with police and destroying property.

There is real footage of rioting and of a residential building on fire, all without visible casualties. People are shown reacting with panic, anger and confusion when they are unexpectedly quarantined in a hotel during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. A person collapses from illness and is transported away in an ambulance.

There is infrequent use of strong language (‘f**k’). Milder terms include ‘shit’ and ‘God’.

The term ‘f**k’ is used once in the sexual sense. A mild scene shows a couple cuddling in bed following implied off-screen sex.

A person treats a bloody cut on their eyebrow following a physical altercation.

Two sustained scenes feature the sound of people in emotional distress due to bereavement or prolonged confinement during COVID-19 lockdown. Other scenes follow a quarantined hotel guest as he struggles with anxiety, uncertainty and separation from his family.
