Sex

Occasional references are made to sex, promiscuity and prostitution, and there is a comic suggestion that three people have an orgy.

Language

Moderate bad language includes use of 'bitchin'', 'spastic' and 'snatch', as well as milder terms including 'son of a bitch', 'asshole', 'bullshit' and 'piss'. There is also infrequent use of the term 'Negro' in describing an incident of racist behaviour, but the language is not condoned and is contextualised by the historical period being depicted.

There are infrequent references to rape when a teen girl threatens to lie to the police and say an older teen has sexually assaulted her. Infrequent mild violence includes a brief fistfight, and there is brief male buttock nudity and scenes of cigarette smoking.
