There is infrequent strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder bad language including uses of 'bollocks' and 'God'.
There are discussions about the dangers posed by sharks, jellyfish, hypothermia, the weather and fatigue. In one scene, a warning is given about a shark in the water near the swimmer, but no attack is made on her. There are also references to debilitating illnesses and mild emotional upset involving a child.
