AFTER BLUE is a French sci-fi fantasy drama film, set on a planet populated solely by women, in which a teenager is sent on a dangerous quest as punishment for releasing an imprisoned assassin.

sex
There are visual and verbal sex references throughout the film. A topless teenager is shown masturbating and briefly caressing her breasts. In another scene the teen presses her face against a mass of pink tentacles emerging from another person’s crotch, implying fantastical oral sex.
sexual violence and sexual threat
There are surreal, stylised scenes of sexual threat and sexual assault, some of which are depicted in an eroticised manner. For example, a bandit is briefly shown pressing her face against the partially nude breasts of a struggling teenager before kissing her on the mouth, at which point the teenager responds in an amorous manner. In another scene, a monstrous hand gropes the teen’s breast, making the girl squeal in pain before becoming sexually aroused.
