There are shootings and beating with occasional bloody aftermath. Police beat suspects, while others are sedated and knocked unconscious. Two women are beaten, and one is thrown from a moving vehicle by an armed villain. In another scene, a man cuts a woman's arm. Domestic abuse is depicted, including scenes in which women are slapped by their male partners, sometimes in front of their children.

People are threatened with guns, and a man threatens to pour acid on a woman's face.

Mild bad language includes use of 'bloody', 'screw' and milder terms, 'damn' and 'hell.'

There are verbal references to sex work and sex workers. Milder references concern adultery.

A young man eats chocolate laced with drugs, and it is implied prisoners hide drugs in their cells.

Dead bodies are seen in the aftermath of violence.

A woman describes feeling suicidal.

A man attempts to kiss and touch a woman despite her clear protests; however, his assault is interrupted. There are also verbal references to sexual violence, and women and girls being forced into prostitution.

A woman with learning disabilities is kept shackled in a room and seen in a state of distress. There are also references to abortion.

Alcohol and tobbaco use occurs.
