There is an undetailed knife slashing during a darkly lit scene, resulting in blood spurts and sight of a severed penis on the ground. There is close-up focus on broken glass lodged in a comatose woman’s neck in the aftermath of violence, with accompanying bloody detail. Milder moments include a prolonged fight sequence using improvised weapons and a character being hit by a speeding vehicle. A woman imagines breaking a character’s neck and drowning them in a swimming pool.

Occasional strong language ('motherf**ker', 'f**k') occurs, as well as moderate bad language ('bitch') and milder terms such as 'bullshit', 'shit', 'God', 'hell' and 'damn'.

A senior male executive at a company attempts to force a colleague to perform oral sex on him; this is brief and another character quickly intervenes. An unsympathetic male character pins a woman onto a table during a scene of sexual threat, but she manages to escape. A woman forces another character to use a phallic shaped object to stimulate her off-screen. There is a focus on the victims' distress during these sequences and the perpetrators' behaviour results in negative consequences.

Verbal and visual references to baby loss occur, including a flashback scene in which an upset little girl pushes her pregnant mother, resulting in sight of blood on the floor. This theme is dealt with sensitively.

Scenes feature adults vaping and drinking alcohol.
