18 PAGES is a Telugu language romantic drama in which a man falls in love with a woman after reading her discarded diary.
violence
In a flashback sequence, a man pulls a woman's hair, twists her arm and threatens to break it, and pushes her head into a mirror in undetailed fashion. Men's throats are cut, without strong detail, resulting in brief bloodshed; there are also occasional bloody images in the aftermath of other violent events.
threat and horror
A woman is abducted and forced into a car where a man holds a knife on her. There is a suggestion of sexual threat as a man recounts that in the course of menacing a woman, he "touched other things" on her body, but there is no visual reinforcement of his claim. There are other moments of threat with a gun and an electric drill, but these are played for comic effect.
additional issues
There is a passing reference to drug misuse in a stylised song-and-dance sequence, which also features smoking and alcohol consumption. There is mild bad language ('nee yabba', 'shit', 'bastard'), as well as very mild terms ('hell', 'God'). There are scenes of mild emotional upset. There are references to dementia.
