The BBFC is taking the current situation regarding coronavirus in the UK very seriously, and we are following Government advice. From Tuesday 17 March, we will be putting new contingency measures in place to make sure that we can continue to classify content and provide a high level of service to our clients. Our classification work remains our highest priority.

However, current circumstances mean that there will be some disruption to our service over the coming weeks, but our aim is to make sure that we continue to carry out our important work to the best of our ability whilst protecting our staff’s health and safety.
