WE is a Belgian drama in which a group of older teenagers' delinquent activities lead to tragic consequences.

There are scenes featuring explicit sexual activity. There are also references to bestiality websites, and to pornographic websites featuring dead people. However, there are no scenes featuring this activity. Teen characters produce and perform in amateur pornography. There are frequent references to sex work, including scenes of sex in which young women have sex with older men.

Sexual violence

A young man penetrates a young woman's vagina with an icicle. After coercing a vulnerable young woman into sex work, a young man physically abuses her before urinating on her.

A group of young women attempt to induce a friend's abortion by repeatedly punching and kicking her in the stomach. When they are unsuccessful, a young man begins to aggressively hit the young woman in the stomach, genitals and head. There is also a scene in which it is implied that a group of young men mutilate a young woman by carving words in her skin.

There is very strong language ('c**t'), some of which accompanies sexual violence. There is also strong language ('f**k'), and discriminatory terms ('retard', 'gay boy').

There are frequent scenes of full frontal nudity. Strong nudity occurs when a headphone wire and ear bud dangle from a young woman's vagina. There are references to child sexual abuse as well as sexually abusive behaviour including coercion and voyeurism. There are scenes in which a dog is taken from his owner and forced to run behind a bicycle before it's implied that the dog is killed after being tied to a railway track. The animal was not physically harmed in the making of the film.
