THE UNKNOWN GIRL is a French language Belgian drama about a young doctor whose guilt over the death of a girl she failed to help inspires her to turn detective.

Sex

Strong sex references with discussion of prostitution and references to sex acts including fellatio and a man saying that he saw a woman "sucking off an old man".

Further issues include a single use of strong language ('f**k') as well as milder terms including 'bitch' and 'pissed off'. There is an attempted suicide with a character seen on the floor with a belt around his neck. He is helped immediately by a doctor. There is moderate injury detail as a doctor treats patients in her surgery, including removing some bloody dressings in order to clean and treat a wound.
