SWALLOWS AND AMAZONS is a 1974 film adaptation of Arthur Ransome's 1930 novel, in which children holidaying in the Lake District set up camp on an island that has already been claimed by other children.

The children light fires and fire arrows at one another, although nobody is hurt. One of the children finds a knife, although it is not used as a weapon.

There is sight of blood on a knee when a boy falls over.

There is sight of a fish being gutted.

At one point a firework goes off on the roof of a man's houseboat. However, the man stamps out the embers of the firework and the dangers involved are clear.
