SCHEMERS is British crime comedy drama, set during the 1980s, in which a young Dundee gig promoter and his friends get into debt to a violent gangster.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k'), as well as other milder terms, including, 'prick', 'whore', 'slut', 'cock', 'bullshit', 'shit', 'shagging', 'piss', 'fanny', 'pish', 'arse', 'Jesus Christ' and 'bloody'.

Drugs

A man snorts a line of white powder off a woman's bare thigh in a pub. A group of friends smoke marijuana. There are verbal references to drug taking and distribution.

There is moderate violence, including some bloody injury detail, as well as a scene in which a man grabs a woman by her hair. Sex references are also moderate, including a scene in which a young man gets caught in bed with a woman and is then pursued by her angry partner.
