SAW VI is a horror drama about a serial killer wreaking bloody revenge on various people.

It was passed '18' for strong bloody violence

The opening scene is a sustained one conveying strong bloody process violence. Details include a man slicing big chunks of flesh from his own abdomen and a woman trying to saw off her own arm before chopping it off with a cleaver. Strong threat is sometimes sustained and continues to strong bloody violence which at times features some dwelling on the victim's pain and suffering. In one scene, the killer slices a man's throat, causing blood to gush from the wound before he stabs, in quick succession, two women. There are close-up shots of the knife being pushed deeper into the woman's abdomen before it is twisted in with relish. In another scene, six people are terrorised before each is shot bloodily. Each person is bound to individual seats of a children's roundabout which turns slowly. When it stops, a gun fires at the person who has stopped directly in front of it. The terrorisation is strong and sustained, causing much agony among the intended victims who scream in fear. There is an explosion of blood each time a person is shot. At ‘18’, the Board's concerns will not normally override the principle that adults should be free to choose their own entertainment unless the material is in breach of the criminal law, or where the material or treatment appears to risk harm to individuals. There is no such breach or 'harm' concerns. Additionally, there are clear fantastical elements embedded in the work from the outset. The work also contains frequent
