ROMEO JULIET is a Tamil language romantic drama about a couple who have to overcome their hang-ups about money and wealth before they can truly fall in love.

Violence

A man threatens to molest a woman after he has broken into her house. The threat is not carried out. A man hits some men with a guitar and hits a character in the face as he holds him in a headlock.

Suicide

A character pretends that she attempted suicide and there is sight of bloody bandages wrapped around her wrist. There are further undetailed verbal references to "committing suicide".

There is moderate bad language ('slut') and milder terms such as 'damn' and 'crap'.
