RIALTO is an Irish drama in which a man's life unravels.

Sex

There are some sequences of strong sex and sexual activity, including solo masturbation, in the context of sex work. There is brief sight of semen.

Language

There is use of very strong language ('c**t') and strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms including 'frigging', 'scroats', 'bastards', 'piss' and 'Jesus Christ'.

There are visual and verbal references to mental illness and to the feeling of being suicidal but there is no actual scene of self-harm or suicide. One character struggles with alcohol dependency. There are scenes in which that person drinks heavily, although the negative impact of this is evident. There is an undetailed verbal reference to the sexual abuse of a young person. There is also use of the discriminatory term 'spastic' as an insult.
