PETLA is a Polish crime drama in which a crooked policeman opens a brothel.

Sexual violence

There are distressing scenes of sexual violence, which include anal rape, blows and verbal abuse. In one, a woman's face is forced into a sink full of water; in another, the man threatens to kill his victim.

Violence

A man bludgeons women with an iron bar. A sex worker is seen to have multiple bloody lacerations, inflicted by a client.

Sex

There are scenes of strong sex, including S&M practices, with breast and rear nudity, and sight of liquid resembling semen. There are references to urolagnia and necrophilia.

Drugs

There are scenes of people taking cocaine.

Language

There is infrequent use of very strong language ('c**t'), as well as more frequent strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker', 'c**ksucker'). The discriminatory term 'faggot' is used.

There is real, close-up, footage of human birth. It is implied that a character kills a dog by gunshot.
