MAIN HOON SHAHID AFRIDI is an Urdu language sports drama about a disgraced former cricket star who coaches an unlikely rural team of young cricketers in a big prize T20 tournament.

Violence

The film contains one sequence of moderate violence, in which one of the players is kidnapped and beaten up by some rivals. The coach arrives on the scene and proceeds to defend the youth by kicking his attackers and smashing a bottle over one of the men's heads. He then takes a baseball bat and strikes another man with it. There is brief sight of blood on one fighter's face. This is an isolated fight scene and doesn't focus on blood or injury detail.

The film also contains some mild bad language (eg 'bastard') and some drug references, such as "smoking marijuana is illegal". There is also brief sight of a rival team player taking a steroid injection before a crunch match.

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
