THE LONG DARK HALL is a black and white British crime drama, from 1950, about a man who is accused of murdering the woman with whom he's been having an affair.

Violence

A couple of scenes show women being stabbed with a knife by a murderer. There is no sight of blood or injury detail.

There are sequences in which women are stalked or threatened by a killer.

There are verbal references to adultery and affairs, as well as references to mental illness.
