THE LIGHTHOUSE is a horror in which two lighthouse keepers live on a New England island in the 1890s.

Sex

There is implied masturbation and a scene in which a character fantasises about having sex with a mermaid.

Nudity

There are sexual fantasies in which nudity features, including breast, buttock and fantastical genital detail.

Violence

There are scenes in which two characters fight, with an extended chase sequence in which one character hits another with an axe to the shoulder and face. There is some bloody detail in the aftermath of violence.

Disturbing images
