THE HOLY MOUNTAIN is a surrealist drama, from 1973, in which an alchemist gathers together a group of powerful individuals and leads them on an apparent quest for immortality.

Violence

There are scenes in which men are castrated, one of which shows a man clutching his groin with blood pouring out. There is other violence, sometimes also with sight of blood.

The film also contains scenes of strong sex, sexualised and non sexual nudity, and scenes of drug misuse.
