GRAVEYARD OF HONOR is a Japanese crime drama, from 2002, in which a man becomes involved with a criminal organisation after he saves the life of a crime boss.

Sexual violence

There is a sequence in which a man pulls a woman's trousers off as she tries to crawl away, he then smears his blood over her face as he forcefully kisses her. One scene shows a man forcibly unbutton a woman's shirt and push her onto a sofa where he climbs on top of her. In a later scene, a man pulls off a woman's skirt and underwear without clear consent and puts his face against her naked groin. Scenes also depict sexual coercion when a man injects a woman with heroin before they have sex.

Drugs

There are scenes in which a man takes heroin, including sight of him tying his arm and inserting a needle.

Scenes of violence include men being shot and knifed with sight of blood spray on impact. In one scene a man repeatedly kicks a woman. A gang remove a man's thumb, however this occurs off screen. There is sexualised nudity when a bare breasted woman dances in a club. The film contains a suicide reference when a man pretends to hang himself. The film opens with a man jumping from a roof.
