FAST FIVE is an action adventure about a gang of car thieves who plan a heist in order to steal a drug lord's money. The film was classified '12' for moderate action violence and one use of strong language.

The film contains a number of scenes of moderate action violence, including gun battles and hand-to-hand fights between various gangs of characters. In all cases, the fights are rapidly edited with any detail of impacts hidden from view. In the case of the gun battles, there is no obvious sight of blood or resultant injury. There is an occasional small smear of blood left on men's faces after fist fights but no clear injury detail. These scenes accord with the terms of the BBFC's Guidelines at '12A'/'12' which state 'Moderate violence is allowed but should not dwell on detail. There should be no emphasis on injuries or blood'.

The film also contains a single use of strong language, delivered without aggression to a Brazilian policeman when he's warned to stay out of the way of the American drug enforcement agents. The Guidelines at '12A'/'12' state 'The use of strong language (for example, 'fuck') must be infrequent'.

The film also contains a scene in which drugs are packaged up by the drug cartel, some mild verbal sex references, including a man complimenting a woman on her legs and asking "What time do they open?", and some high speed car chase sequences.
