ETERNAL BEAUTY is a UK drama in which a woman's struggles with her mental health disrupt her hopes of finding love and her relationship with her family.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder bad language ('shit', 'bastard', 'bloody') and rude V-sign gestures.

Theme

The central character, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia which she has been living with for over twenty years, is shown behaving erratically and imagining the presence of people who are not in her life. Although able to function in everyday living, the character struggles with her medication and her condition allows others to take advantage of her, while her behaviour occasionally places both herself and others at risk.

Suicide

There are references to suicide in a radio call-in show that is imagined by the central character.

Brief scenes of moderate sex also occur.

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
