THE EMOJI MOVIE is an animated adventure in which an 'emoji' inside a young boy's phone accidentally causes chaos when he expresses more than one emotion.

Theme

Occasional toilet humour occurs in reference to the 'poop emoji' and a 'high-five emoji' reveals his buttocks while dancing.

Threat

Scenes of mild threat include characters being chased and disintegrated by robots or blasted by fire, although nobody is seriously injured and there are comic moments throughout.

Language

Terms include 'butt', 'screw up' and 'freaking'.
