DREAMLAND is a Canadian fantasy crime drama in which a professional killer goes after a gang boss.

Violence

There are scenes of bloody gun violence and sequences involving the severing of fingers.

Injury detail

There are multiple bloody images including surreal moments and more realistic depictions of the aftermath of violence. In one scene a person with several gunshots has a blood transfusion. There are several shots of a severed finger but the injury detail is minimal.

Sexual violence

There are multiple verbal and visual references to child abuse and sexual enslavement: the narrative features a teenage girl who at times appears to be drugged by her captors. She is coerced into marrying a grown man but the presentation is surreal, and there is no actual scene of rape.

Drugs

There are several scenes in which people consume illegal substances featuring sight of drug paraphernalia.

There is also strong language, such as 'f**k' and 'motherf**ker', as well as milder terms.
