THE DOORS is a biographical drama charting the career of the band and the ascent and decline of their lead singer, Jim Morrison.

There are scenes of drug misuse throughout, including cocaine, LSD, peyote and marijuana.

There are brief war images of real dead bodies, including those of children. There is strong language throughout ('f**k', 'motherf**ker'), and strong verbal and visual sex references. There is also strong sex and nudity, including a scene in which a man and woman, who have both used cocaine, perform a ceremony in which they drink blood drawn from their wrists and collected in a goblet, then resume intercourse. There are also scenes of violence.

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
