A DOG NAMED DUKE is a US drama about an army veteran who is forced to abandon his ailing dog and the people who struggle to reunite them.

Theme

Occasionally the main character has flashbacks to his days in the military and becomes distressed and scared when he hears fireworks go off. He is seen crying and distressed as he remembers what he experienced. There are also some scenes of distress as the man is forced to leave his dog, believing that the animal is going to die.

There is also some very mild bad language including: 'damn', 'hell', 'ass' and 'BS'.
