DEMONLOVER is a French drama thriller from 2002 in which rival media corporations compete for the takeover of a Japanese company that produces animated pornography.

A pornographic film plays on a television; explicit detail of sexual activity is pixilated.

Sexual violence

A sequence from a Japanese 'hentai' animated film includes images of phallic-like tentacles penetrating female characters; explicit detail is obscured by pixellation. Dramatised footage from a 'torture porn' website show women being locked in rooms, bound to metal bed frames or otherwise subjected to restraint, with the implication that violent acts are being committed on them. There is also a brief scene of sexual violence in which a man rapes a woman.

A man is shot in the head and two women fight, with one of them being killed when his throat is cut with a shard of glass.

There is also strong sex, passing references to child pornography and drugs, and infrequent strong language (f**k').

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
