DEEP BLUE SEA 3 is a science fiction action horror film in which a marine research facility is terrorised by neurologically modified sharks.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder bad language including uses of bitch', 'shit', 'arses', 'ass', 'asshole', 'oh my God', 'damn' and 'hell'.

Threat and horror

Humans are chased, cornered and menaced by ravenous sharks in sequences of threat which are occasionally sustained.

Injury detail

Although depictions of shark attacks are undetailed, there is strong gore in their aftermath, including images of bloody wounds, severed limbs and heads, and a victim's legless torso floating underwater from which his entrails trail out.
