THE BYGONE is a drama in which a man attempts to rescue a woman from a life of forced sex work.

Sexual violence

The story involves forced prostitution and there are some scenes in which women are assaulted by clients. There is a scene in which a woman is subjected to a sexual assault which includes her being hanged.

Threat and horror

A young woman is pursued and abducted by violent sex traffickers.

Violence

Other scenes of violence include shootings and stabbings, with some bloody injury detail. There is also a scene in which a horse is heavily whipped, sustaining injured.

Nudity

There is breast nudity.

Drugs

There are scenes in which substances are snorted and smoked.

There is discriminatory language, including a Native American woman being referred to as a 'savage'.
