THE BLACK POWER MIXTAPE: 1967-1975 is a documentary about the Civil Rights movement in the United States and the rise of 'Black Power'.

Drugs

There are frequent references to heroin and crack and there is a scene showing two addicts surrounded by drug paraphernalia, including a hypodermic syringe.

Violence

There are shots of victims of rioting and, most notably, images of Martin Luther King in his coffin and Bobby Kennedy lying in a pool of blood.
