SHERLOCK HOLMES is an action adventure in which the famous British detective and his sidekick Dr. Watson solve a case concerning an aristocrat who has apparently come back from the dead to wreak havoc in 19th century London.

Violence

There are scenes in which Sherlock Holmes uses targeted punches and ear claps to disable his opponents. There are also fights, people are threatened, and scenes featuring explosions.

In one scene, a man is boiled in his bath; however, there is no strong detail.

In another scene, Holmes hangs with a noose round his neck as he shows his sidekick Watson how a man faked his own death.

The film contains a comic scene in which Holmes is drugged, tied up and left naked in a room; however, a cushion conceals nudity detail.

There is also very mild language (for example, ‘damn’ and ‘God’), as well as scenes in which Holmes smokes an old fashioned pipe, reflecting the period in which the film is set.
