PAIN AND GLORY is a Spanish drama in which an aging film director attempts to reconcile himself with his past.

Drugs

There are frequent scenes depicting men smoking heroin. A man misuses prescribed medication and there is a brief scene of cocaine snorting. There are references to drugs, including to 'chasing the dragon' and drug dealing.

There is genital and buttock nudity when a man bathes. There is also brief moderate violence when a man's leg is cut, resulting in bloody detail. There is infrequent strong language ('f**k').
