ALICE IN WONDERLAND is a retelling of the classic children's fantasy story about a girl who is transported to a fantastical world.

Violence

There are occasional scenes of moderate fantasy violence including a sequence in which the protagonist - who remains calm, courageous and resourceful - fights the dragon-like Jabberwocky, eventually cutting off its head. Occasional sequences depict the protagonist under threat from various creatures, but these end in her escape and are reassuringly resolved.

After fighting a creature called the Bandersnatch, Alice has some large bloody scratches on her arm which remain visible in subsequent scenes. However, Alice does not appear to be in pain and there is no dwelling on injury detail.

There is infrequent mild bad language, including when a character is referred to as having a 'bloody big head'.
