A QUIET PLACE is a horror film in which a family live their lives in silence for fear of alien creatures that hunt by sound.

Threat

There are scenes of sustained threat in which adults and children are menaced by giant creatures.

Brief instances of injury detail include a dead woman's stomach wound and a woman's foot after she steps on a nail. In one sequence a woman bleeds into a bath while giving birth. Scenes of violence include a woman firing a shotgun at a creature with resultant blood spurt and subsequent sight of the creature's corpse.
