Childnet Film Competition 2013

Positive and inspiring use of the internet is at the heart of the Childnet Film Competition 2013.

Date 19/07/2013

Childnet invited all UK schools and youth organisations to enter their film-making challenge again this year.

Two separate projects for primary and secondary aged children deal with themes and key messages from Safer Internet Day 2013.

Primary aged entrants were challenged to create a 60 second film to tell us why ‘The internet is great, when you respect your mates.’

Secondary aged entrants were asked to create a 2 minute film in response to the theme ‘How do you connect with respect?’

The shortlisted finalists were invited to a private screening of their film in front of the Childnet judging panel at the BFI in Central London on Monday 15 July, where they were awarded some fantastic prizes for their school or youth group.

All the finalists' films can be viewed on the Childnet website.
