Extended Classification Information (*SPOILER ALERT* Information may include plot details) DAYLIGHT ROBBERY is a contemporary crime drama about a gang of men who rob a bank but become trapped inside with hostages after the police arrive. It was passed '15' for strong language, threat and soft drug use. The BBFC's Guidelines at '15' with regard to language state that 'there may be frequent use of strong language (eg 'fuck') and this film contains frequent uses of strong language. As for threat, '15' Guidelines state that 'Strong threat and menace are permitted' and this film contains several scenes of strong threat where bank employees or customers are threatened with death or injury by ruthless armed robbers. These scenes exceed the '12A' Guidelines which state that 'Sustained moderate threat and menace are permitted'. Drugs Guidelines at '15' state that 'Drug taking may be shown but the film as a whole must not promote or encourage drug misuse' and this film contains some scenes where gang members are shown smoking joints. However, the principal drug user is presented as an inept character whose lifestyle drug use could lead to the failure of the plan so these scenes, together with other occasional verbal drug references, do not promote or encourage drug use'. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY also contains some moderate violence and occasional gory moments, moderate sex references and mild and moderate language.
