Extended Classification Information (*SPOILER ALERT* Information may include plot details) MISSION ISTAANBUL - DARR KE AAGEY JEET HAI! is a film about a TV news journalist who takes a job at an Istanbul-based TV news station and becomes embroiled in a businessman’s evil schemes to both create and report terrorist activities. When the hero decides to gather evidence of this nefarious scheme, people around him start being killed and threatened and the terrorists eventually even target his estranged wife. MISSION ISTAANBUL - DARR KE AAGEY JEET HAI! was classified '12A' for moderate violence and one use of moderate language. The BBFC’s Guidelines at ‘12A’ state that ‘Violence must not dwell on detail. There should be no emphasis on injuries or blood’. The violence in this film contains some scenes in which there are crunching sound effects accompanying punches and kicks and bullet impacts with blood spurts but refrains from focus or lingering on detail and is therefore containable at ‘12A’. Language in this film includes a scene in which a man indirectly threatens a woman with the words 'I’ll kill that bitch!' and this aggressive sort of reference to a woman is the sort of language which is considered ‘moderate’ under current Guidelines and policy and therefore beyond the BBFC's Guidelines at 'PG' which allow 'Mild bad language only' but safely within the requirements of the ‘12A’ classification.
