YOUTH is a drama about a retired conductor on holiday in the Alps with his best friend, as they reflect on their lives and their children.

Language

Occasional use of strong language ('f**k'), with milder terms including 'bitch', 'whore', 'piss', 'shit', 'asshole', 'bloody', 'crap', and 'ass'.

Sex

A clothed man thrusts vigorously against a clothed woman whose legs are splayed, as she leans back on a tree and noisily reaches orgasm.

There are also visual and verbal references to prostitutes, oral sex and orgasms.

Nudity

Full frontal male and female nudity with breasts, buttocks and genitals visible, occasionally sexualised or in a sexual context.

There is an implied but unseen suicide, some mild threat from a nightmare about drowning, and sight of a woman with a bloody face, but no injury.
