THE WRESTLER is a film about an aging professional wrestler making a living playing small venues in the USA.

Violence

Wrestling violence depicted is often bloody, with competitors using items such as staple guns and in one case a razor blade. This is sometimes intercut with the participants receiving medical aid after fights.

Language

There is frequent use of strong language ('f**k').

Sex

There is a scene of strong sex in which a man is seen thrusting into a woman, as well as occasional breast and buttock nudity.

Drugs

A character is seen snorting a line of cocaine in one scene, although the work does not glamorise or promote drug use.
