WIVES ON STRIKE: THE REVOLUTION is a Nigerian drama in which a group of women refuse their husbands sex as a protest against domestic violence.

Violence

There are scenes of domestic violence in which men shout at, beat and humiliate their wives. A husband pushes his wife, who hits her head fatally as she falls. Women discuss scars and miscarriages caused by violent men.

In a conference on women's rights, delegates discuss the physical consequences of sex for child brides.

There are moderate sex references to 'sex craving' and 'sex starvation' during the strike.

There is mild bad language ('quim'), as well as milder terms such as 'God'.

There is mild threat to a man who is bound and gagged as he is held captive by a group of women.
