WIND RIVER is a US drama in which a female FBI agent and a veteran game tracker investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a dead woman on a Native American reservation.

Violence

There is strong violence, most notably in shoot-outs featuring blood spurts. There is strong sexual violence involving the rape of a woman in a scene that also includes the brutal beating of a man by a gang of other men. Strong references to the sexual violence are made elsewhere in the film. There is also a scene of self-harming involving a grieving woman.

Injury detail

There is strong, bloody injury detail on corpses displaying cuts and bruises, as well as wound detail establishing injuries sustained in various fight sequences. These include gunshot wounds, and blunt force trauma. There is also knife wound detail in a self-harming context.

Language
