WILLOW AND WIND is an Iranian film which tells the story of a young boy who is forced to travel a long distance to fetch a pane of glass for his school classroom after accidentally breaking it.

Imitable Behaviour

The film contains numerous scenes in which the young boy must carry a large sheet of glass across the countryside, and in these scenes he is shown riding a motorcycle while holding the glass, smashing panes of glass with a hammer and making a makeshift platform by dragging benches across classroom tables to climb up to a window. The focus of the scenes in question is the plight of the boy as he desperately tries to deliver the glass unscathed, and such potentially dangerous actions are not presented as safe or fun.

The film contains infrequent use of very mild bad language ('god').
