WHISKY GALORE is a remake of the classic British comedy in which Scottish islanders attempt to steal whisky from a wrecked ship.

Language

Occasional mild bad language includes 'shite', 'bloody', 'arse', 'hell' and 'damn'.

Other issues include brief sight of a dead body in a coffin, with no strong detail. There are infrequent mild and discreet sex references, as well as infrequent expressions, by unsympathetic characters, of outdated racist views including a reference to 'cannibals' in Africa. Other scenes show characters drinking to excess and smoking.
