There are partial uses of strong language ('f**k'). Milder bad language includes 'god', 'Jesus', 'Christ', 'hell', 'morons', 'bloody', 'bugger off', 'bollocks', 'pissed off', 'bastard', 'crap' and 'arse'.

Discrimination

There is a use of discriminatory language when a father calls his son a 'spaz' after the boy makes a mistake. The use of the term is not endorsed.

Sex

There are references to infidelity and a comment about a character 'screwing' someone.

The film deals with the subject of dying and children coping with the death of a family member. The theme is handled in a sensitive manner.

There is also a scene in which an older character offers a younger one some of his prescription medication to sell at school.
