WESTWOOD: PUNK, ICON, ACTIVIST is a documentary about British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.

Language

There is occasional use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as some milder bad language (for example, 'shit', 'crap', 'bollocks', 'God').

There is some non-sexual nudity, which features within the context of fashion events and catwalk shows. There is also a brief shot of a penis in one of many photographs mounted on a wall, and brief sight of an outline drawing of a penis on the front of a woman's underwear.

One scene shows people wearing latex and rubber clothing, accompanied by references to "rubber wear for the office" and "England was the country of the flasher".

There are some scenes showing swastika emblems on fashion wear, and which are contextualised as the type of deliberately confrontational and provocative imagery favoured by the Punk movement at the time.
